Harmful - boo hoo
- Ads must not contain anything that's likely to encourage and condone anti social behavior
- ads, especially those adressing to or depicting a child, must not condone or encourage unsafe practice
- ads should be prepared with a sense of responsibility to consumers and to society psrticulr care should be made if kids are featured
- must not sexualise children
- should comply with the law and not incite breaking it
- must noyt cause fear or distress without justifiable reasons if it is it should not be exessive
- must not use shocking claims or images to attract attention
- make sure it is scheduled properly in compliance with the watershed
- age resticted products must not be aimed at children
ads featuring sexual imagery must be careful to avoid harm and offence
Misleading
- no advert should mislead, or be likely to mislead by inaccurcy, ambiguity, exxageration, ommission
- marketers must hold documantary evidence to prove all claims wether direct or implied that are capable of objective substaniation
-marketing communications must be obviously identifiable
Offensive
- advertiments should contain anything that is likely to cause serious or widespread offence, especially on the grounds of religion, sex, race, sexual orientation or disability
- ads featuring sexual imagery particular posters of children must not cause harm or offence
- the fact that a product is offensive to some people is not grounds to remove it

- miu miu - sitting on train tracks she was underage as she was 14 - removed

Kellogg's - didn't say amount of sugar - misleading as said it was healthy but it is unhealthy
POM - suicide - 23 complaints - exaggerated health benefits - misleading - removed

Ribena - lie - drinking their drink is bad for teeth
