Advertising is a campaign promoting a product or idea which can persuade or interest a target audiance to purchase or use products or services.  The campaign may use many different forms of media to promote a message for a set ammount of time.

Media platforms are used in advertising

- magazine ads - needs to be relevant to target audiance of magazine
- cinema ads
- websites
- television ads
- billboards
- posters
- social media adverts - snapchat adverts - instagram - facebook
- news papers - tabloid - broadsheet
- youtube ads
- pop-up ads - websites - youtube
- flyers

Evian - live young
recognisable brand from ads

- they have a consistant message of being active and revealing ur inner baby
- the target audiance is a wide range from 18-60 as they are most likely the ages of people who go shopping

boys will be boys
- can be seen as controversial as presnts all men as sexual predators

Nike - dream crazy
targets minorities - such as disabled peole and black people

pulled ad

iceland - it was pulled because it was graphic and could be seen as frightening to young children
i thought it was a good advert which explained the issue in a good way
